unit 11 animation proposal

New City college animation

This is an example of one of the feedback sheets from one of my classmates.

evaluation: in my evaluation for unit 11, I have created an animation to convince people to enrol into New City College. I have created and completed my animation in photoshop, the message I am trying to tell in my animation is that new city college is welcoming and that it should be your first choice when thinking of enrolling into a college. For improvements I should have made it longer because it is too short and would have relayed a better message, another improvement is that I could of added more animation techniques to make it look more stylistic, another improvement is that I could've added music to create a good mood and atmosphere when the viewer watches my animation.

feedback:the feedback I received from my class mates is that my animation is too short and I could have made my animation longer because it could've relayed a better message but they liked the animation because it runs smoothly and is effective.

for this one hour session i intend to create an animation to persuade people to enroll into  tower hamlets college.

UNIT 11 MOVING CAR ANIMATION

for this task i created an animation of a moving car in adobe photoshop

bouncing ball

how to set up a bouncing ball in photoshop:

1. I setup a new page in photoshop. The size for the page is 788 pixels by 576 pixels on a transparent layer.

2.Next i drew a circle using the elliptical marquee tool, holding down the option button to create a circular selection. Then fill it with colour.

3. it looked like this after i created the circle.

4. Then i duplicated the layer on the layers panel by pressing command + j on the keyboard

5.The duplicated object is over the original. Move it slightly with the move tool.

6.Using the transform tool (press command + t on the keyboard) squash the shape slightly. It should look like the screen shot below.

7. i duplicated the squashed layer and then edited the shape a little more. This will be used when the ball hits the ground. Now there are three layers.

8.Next i opened up the timeline and created a frame animation.

9.turn off the two layers with the squashed balls.

for this video of a gorilla moving i rotoscoped the entire video by creating a new frame and over lining the gorilla in each frame.
