drawing in sketchbook

in our sketch we drew random objects and shapes by using straight lines

1)open adobe illustrator
2)file new (create new page size A3)
3)place image to trace
4)image trace pannel
5)preview
6)experiment with slides
7)turn off preview to trace
8)expand (in option pannel)
9)live paint object (cmd+option/alt+x)
10)press k live paint bucket then drop colours

INDUCTION DAY

the first thing we did was the ice breaker (getting to know the new students) then we had a tour around the college then we had to sit and watch a presentation after that we left at 3:30

unit 16 great fire of London

We were given a task to search someone that was involved in the great fire of London and trace over the painting. Me and my classmate Usama partnered up to create our master piece.
First we went on the internet and searched if anyone was involved in the incident, in this case Charles the second. Then we opened abode illustrator uploaded the image to illustrator and changed the opacity to make it transparent so its is easier to trace.

next we took our tools, not many were used:
1.paint brush
2.group selection tool
3.swap fill and stroke










using the tools we created different layers for different part e.g.nose, ear, hair ect. we traced all the parts individually.




 

after the tracing was done we filled in the space inside and this is the final product.
